With a unique architecture and a welcoming atmosphere, L’Arrosseria Pi de Migdia, located in the El Tarter sector of Grandvalira, offers a high-level Mediterranean dining experience at 2,100 metres above sea level. Specialising in mountain-style rice dishes, the kitchen features fresh starters, traditional grilled dishes and homemade desserts prepared with local products. Dishes such as the mushroom and foie gras rice or the lobster stew with hand-crushed seasoning stand out for their use of grilling, which enhances mountain flavours. Its name refers to the pine tree from the Pla de Ribaescorxada, a symbolic tree once used as a guide by local shepherds and which now inspires the philosophy behind this high-altitude restaurant.
