You’ll find a variety of rice dishes with original recipes, such as mushroom and foie rice, or lobster rice soup with picada de mortero, as well as fresh fish and meat cooked in a Josper charcoal oven. On the terrace you can enjoy a glass of Clicquot champagne at 2,100 metres of elevation with the best views of Grandvalira – El Tarter.
Interestingly, this restaurant was named after the famous pine tree that stands in Pla de Ribaescorjada, right near the restaurant. Shepherds used to use its shadow as a guide, as it was always round at noontime.
