This Christmas, Grandvalira invites children to experience the winter magic with the traditional Torchlight and Twinkle Light Descents.
Soldeu Sector
Torchlight Descent – 31 December
- Time: 6:00 PM
- Meeting point: 5:30 PM in front of the gondola ticket office.
- Age: from 6 years old and adults.
- Level: advanced (blue slopes).
- Planned route: Ós – Bosc Fosc – Avet.
- Includes: LED lights, snow groomer show and hot chocolate.
- Important: torches are handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must bring their own light.

Twinkle Light Descent – 3 January
- Time: 6:00 PM
- Meeting point: 5:30 PM in front of the gondola ticket office.
- Age: 6 to 12 years.
- Includes: LED lights and hot chocolate.
- Planned route: Bosc Fosc.
- Important: participants must bring their own light.

Pas de la Casa sector
Torchlight Descent and Parade on 5 January
To celebrate the arrival of the Three Wise Men, the traditional Torchlight Descent will take place on 5 January in the Pas de la Casa sector, followed by a spectacular parade with fireworks. The event will conclude with the Wise Men’s procession through the village streets.
