The new L'Abarset
Grandvalira’s popular leisure and restaurant venue, L’Abarset, is back this winter season stronger than ever and with the aim of becoming the best après-ski in Europe.
The old L'Abarset closed its doors prematurely in March 2020, thus ending nine years of partying and playful atmosphere.
The renovated project maintains the essence and spirit of the old venue, but at the same time it has been strengthened with a new concept in which leisure, music, and gastronomy will be united in a unique experience, going beyond the ski season and the weekend.
You can now enjoy everything that awaits you at the new L'Abarset. You will wish to be one of us.
An eclectic space
The transformation of the space, with the design of David Alayeto, from the Dream Up Design studio, incorporates the beauty of the mountains in every detail: the perfect balance between day and night, in an oasis of entertainment with privileged views to the outside. The mountain is present in the room thanks to the natural materials, which, mixed with other noble materials, provide a touch of eclectic sophistication that generates a warm, elegant, and modern environment.
The more than 2,000 square metre area, with two floors and a terrace of 700 m2, incorporates unique furniture and decoration, with organic shapes, walls with sculptures of logs, latticework made of branches or bars that emulate rocks emerging from the ground. The lighting design is another key element in generating the welcoming atmosphere offered by the L'Abarset: ambient light from ceilings and walls, accentuated by fireplaces that simulate bonfires and create unparalleled spaces of intimacy and warmth in which to relax and enjoy the days in the mountains.
