The old Steak House in the Soldeu sector has been completely refurbished and is now the Wine & Meat Bar by Jean Leon, a bistro-style restaurant with topof- the-range dishes and relaxed service. The interior was designed with the aim of finding a balance between the historic connotations of the Jean Leon brand and transferring it into a comfortable, warm and functional space.
The new concept is different in three main ways. Firstly, there is the Colmado with cuts of meat and dishes made to order to offer the best products in the best conditions. A range of premium charcuterie with brands such as Joselito, high-quality tinned and pickled produce by La Catedra de Navarra, Espinaler and Don Bocarte and cheeses from the ‘Meilleur ouvrier de France’ award-winner, Xavier de Toulouse.
In addition, the Josper grill offers customers cooked dishes with vegetables and seasonal recommendations and prime cuts of meat from Txogitxu or Wagyu beef or organic beef from Cal Tomàs. It will also have a selection of Joselito Iberian hams.
And lastly, at the Wine Bar, visitors can enjoy wine tasting as a fundamental part of the experience, with a wide variety of wines from the El Penedès Jean León bodega, including experiential wines and special vintages.
