Snow garden in Grandvalira 

The best option for children's first contact with skiing or snowboarding. Grandvalira has 6 snow gardens located in Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa and Encamp. If you choose snowboarding, Burton Riglet methodology will be applied as an innovative educational concept that combines circuits with physical and balance exercises. Without leaving behind an educational and fun environment, kids can easily and safely get started in the snow world.

Snow gardens in Andorra

Children will be able to get started in the world of snow easily and safely, within a fun educational environment. Depending on their age, they will attend snow adaptation classes, or even basic ski lessons that are really enjoyable, on closed circuits. The snow garden is available as a half-day or full-day option (only available in the Canillo, Soldeu and El Tarter sectors). In the snow garden, there is also the option for children to start learning snowboarding, with lessons based on the innovative Burton Riglet methodology: circuits combined with physical and balance exercises, adapted to suit small children. Snow garden conditions - Canillo, El Tarter and Soldeu sectors

  • Children under 4 years old will be given a snow adaptation class with games and activities.
  • Children between 4 and 5 years old will have fun and entertaining skiing lessons in a specially dedicated area.
  • Children are divided into groups according to their skiing level.
  • Prices do not include food, skiing equipment or the ski pass.
  • Options: Alpine skiing or snowboarding. If snowboarding is chosen, the Burton Riglet methodology will be used.
  • Starting date:
    • Courses of 15, 12 and 9 hours start on Monday and Saturday in Soldeu and El Tarter sectors. In Canillo sector, on Monday.
    • Courses of 6 hours start on Saturday.
    • In the case of a special departure, it will only be available for the 15, 12 and 9 hours courses.
    • The half-day service (3 h) is for beginners and starts every day. (Not available in Canillo sector).
  • The half-day service will be confirmed in the morning (10 a.m - 1 p.m) or afternoon hours (2 p.m. -  5 p.m.) depending on the availability of the school. 
  • If the lessons booked take place simultaneously in high and low season, the final price will be calculated on the basis of the rate set for each day. View rates calendar or prices online. 
  • Any product will always be conditioned by the weather.
  • In the case that the child does not meet the age requirement established in each sector, the school reserves the right of admission and the service may incur 100% cancellation fee.
  • Ski pass: To avail any school service, you must have a valid day pass, multi-day pass, season Andorra Pass or Plus+ Ski Pass on the dates of the service booking. Pedestrian, beginner and Mountain Pass passes are excluded.
  • Equipment: The school does not provide material, and it is not possible to rent it on slopes. Ski poles are not necessary. Children are more sensitive to cold and heat: they need to be dressed appropriately. Bring sunglasses or snow goggles, gloves, hat, ski boots, skis and helmet, spare clothes and hiking boots for activities.

  • Modality: Alpine skiing.
  • Starting date:  Daily. 
  • The morning service schedule is from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and afternoon from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. In order to facilitate the reception of children at the school, the service will be confirmed with starting times at 09:00 am and 1:00 pm, according to the availability of the school.
  • If the lessons booked take place simultaneously in high and low season, the final price will be calculated on the basis of the rate set for each day. View rates calendar or prices online.
  • Ski lessons are 2 hours in duration, the rest of the time is designed to have fun with the rest of the children.
