Andorra Pass for the 2022-23 season

1. CONDITIONS OF THE BENEFITS FOR 2022-23 ANDORRA PASS ONLINE PURCHASES

1/ Renewal discount:

Grandvalira Resorts rewards the loyalty of skiers that held the Grandvalira Resorts, Ski Andorra, Ordino Arcalís, Valls del Nord and Pal Arinsal 2021-22 Season  Pass.

Skiers can enjoy a 5% discount when renewing their Season Pass in any of the sales periods for the 2022/23 Season Pass. This discount can be applied in addition to the family discount. When making the purchase, you do not need to register again as a new customer, just recover your email address or ask for your password through the same platform.

If you held a 2021-2022 Pal Arinsal, Valls del Nord/Pal Arinsal or Ski Andorra Season Pass, look for the series number printed on the back of the pass. Upon registering, enter this number when asked whether you are part of a group. Check Pal Arinsal and enter the corresponding number to obtain the 5% discount on the final price.. If you had a SKI ANDORRA pass, select the same group in order to get the renewal discount. In this case, you will need the Wi-Fi code to continue with the purchase, which you will find printed on the pass.

If you cannot find the series number, request it by sending an email to the Pal Arinsal or Ski Andorra team at clients@vallnord.com or skiandorra@skiandorra.ad, respectively.

Note: This discount does not apply to season Andorra Pass Senior Gold +70 and Mountain Pass for the FAM members (Andorran mountaineering federation).

2/ Family discount:

Benefits for families that purchase three or more Andorra Pass season passes. Discounts only applicable for spouses and direct descendants of the person making the purchase. The discount only applies from the third ski pass onwards, provided that the first two are adult or junior ski passes.

Third and subsequent family ski passes: 25% discount.

Please note: This discount applies only to purchases made by a single pass holder in a single purchase. Grandvalira Resorts will not apply the family discount to purchases with different pass holders even when family conditions are met.

Note: This does not apply to Mountain Pass, Freestyle, Senior, Andorra Resident (all parishes) and Sunday season passes.

3/ Payment in instalments:

The Andorra Pass can be paid in three interest-free instalments, at no additional cost.

Application period for payment in instalments: Only those purchasing online with a credit card between 1st September 2022 and 8 December 2023 (both dates inclusive) may choose the option to pay in instalments. Applicable to the total amount of the purchase.

Instalment amounts:

  • For purchases in the Early Booking sales period (1st September to 30 September): An initial payment of 50% of the Season Pass’ total purchase amount will be made at the time it is purchased online; a second payment of 25% of the total purchase amount on 30 September 2022; and a third payment for the remaining 25% of the total purchase amount on 30 November 2022. The payment in instalments for the Season Pass is interest-free, provided that payments are made on time.
  • For purchases in the Promotional Price sales period (1 October to 8 December): An initial payment of 40% of the Season Pass’ total purchase amount will be made at the time it is purchased online; a second payment of 30% of the total purchase amount on 3 January 2023; and a third payment for the remaining 30% of the total purchase amount on 3 February 2023. The payment in instalments for the Season Pass is interest-free, provided that payments are made on time.

Grandvalira Resorts will charge the instalments directly to the bank account associated with the credit card used for the initial purchase. In the event of changing card during the season, the instalments will be charged to the last associated card. Note: The instalments are calculated based on the total amount of the purchase and no interest or additional costs will be applied. Please keep in mind that if your card expires, is lost or is cancelled, you will have to get in touch with our Season Pass Department via the web form as soon as possible to update your information.  This way, you will avoid having your pass blocked and you will be able to continue skiing.

Warning: Grandvalira Resorts reserves the right to temporarily suspend season passes of holders and/or other persons included in the purchase if the corresponding instalment is not paid on the due date. Furthermore, Grandvalira Resorts reserves the right to not reactivate these ski passes in the event of late payment. For further information, see the conditions of payment in instalments.

In the case of residents of Andorra (purchases made until 15 November), the instalment amounts will be established taking into account the generic sales periods.

Further information via our web form.

4/ Refund guarantee:

Grandvalira Resorts guarantees the skiing days of its 2022-23 Andorra Pass customers. Customers who purchase the Andorra Pass for the season online before 8 December 2022 with a credit card and who have skied less than five days prior to the closure of the resort will only pay for the days skied.

Grandvalira Resorts commits to refunding the proportional part of the Season Pass’ total amount. The days skied will be charged at the rate of a one-day ski pass at the ticket offices. Customers may request this benefit during the season and before 16 April 2023 through our web form.

Requests submitted after the abovementioned date will not be accepted even if they meet all the requirements. Grandvalira Resorts will make the refund to the same credit card used in the initial purchase before 26 May 2023.

Example:

Adult Season Pass: €820 (promotional price)

Days skied during the season: 4 days (the "Refund guarantee" will be applied to a maximum of 4 days)

4 days x €60 (adult one day ski pass during high season) = €240

Grandvalira Resorts will refund the customer: €820 - €240 = €580

Please note: This benefit is not valid for purchases made at ticket offices. Grandvalira Resorts will not provide a refund if the customer has skied more than five days or if a refund request is related to an accident on the slopes, pregnancy or illness. However, there is an alternative compensation policy for the customer. If you have skied less than five days, contact us via our web form before 16 April 2023 to process the compensation.

3. INTERNAL REGULATION

If you have an annual pass, take into account the following information:

The season pass is the property of NEUS DEL PIRINEU S.A. (GRANDVALIRA)

The annual pass is personal and non-transferable. It may be requested for verification by any person authorised as a Grandvalira Resorts employee. Carrying a pass of which you are not the owner is considered a fraudulent act by both the carrier and the owner. This act may result in a financial penalty or a report to the police.

Grandvalira Resorts is not responsible for refunding an annual pass due to climate issues during the season. Alternatively, it commits to considering possible suitable compensation for its customers.

1/ Loss or theft of the pass:

Grandvalira Resorts reserves the right to issue, or not issue, a duplicate pass. It will study each case individually.

To block your lost or stolen ski pass, please contact us via our web form or drop by any of our Grandvalira Resorts ticket offices.

Where Grandvalira Resorts authorises a replacement Andorra Pass, this will be issued directly at the ticket offices. Issue of a replacement pass involves an administration fee of €20 to be paid by the customer.

Grandvalira Resorts will not issue any invitation to ski during the process of authorising a duplicate. If the customer wishes to ski, they must purchase a day pass at the ticket office, without obtaining any later refund by Grandvalira Resorts.

2/ Not having the annual pass (e.g. left it at home):

Grandvalira Resorts will not issue any complimentary passes to customers who fail to present their annual pass, for whatever reason. Should the customer wish to ski, they must purchase a day pass at the ticket office at the RRP or request a duplicate of their Andorra Pass (€20 per duplicate). Grandvalira Resorts will not subsequently refund any monies paid in either of these cases.

3/ Accident / pregnancy / illness or various other causes:

Grandvalira Resorts will not make any kind of cash refund where more than 5 skiing sessions have been enjoyed. Grandvalira Resorts has ski insurance available for its customers, which must be taken out before the first skiing session. We recommend reading the coverage of the same.

Grandvalira Resorts commits to studying each case on an individual basis always once the ski pass is returned together with the corresponding medical certificate.

4. COMPENSATION POLICY FOR 2022-23 ANDORRA PASS CUSTOMERS IN THE EVENT OF PREGNANCY, ACCIDENT ON THE SLOPES OR ILLNESS

Dear Fanatic,

If you have not been able to enjoy Grandvalira Resorts as much you would have liked this season, don't worry, we will compensate you for having missed out on the snow!

Grandvalira Resorts offers all of its customers a discount voucher for the following season which may be redeemed when purchasing any of the 2023-24 Grandvalira Resorts season passes. This voucher may only be used for the season immediately after the one in which the compensation was requested. If, for any reason, the Season Pass for the following year cannot be used, please contact us via our web form to explain the situation before the end of the 2022-23 season.

You won't be left out wanting snow!

Discount vouchers:

Discount vouchers are only valid for Andorra Pass customers that have skied 14 or less days in the season (according to type of pass) and that cannot continue to do so for the remainder of the season due to pregnancy, an accident on the ski slope or illness. Important: The Season Pass may not be used as a foot pass once the accident, disease or pregnancy has occurred. All lifts/descents in the resort's elevators are counted as a day of skiing and thus affect the compensation ratio. Discount vouchers are personal and non-transferable and only apply to the affected pass holder. Under no circumstances may the voucher be exchanged by a person other than the holder of the Andorra Pass. Compensation terms are established according to the number of days skied during the season, regardless of the last date that the customer stopped skiing.

Important: The compensation vouchers for the 2022-23 season are personal and non-transferable. If you wish to use them during the Early Booking sales period, Grandvalira Resorts will not refund the difference of the price or allow a transfer to a friend or family member.

How many days skiing have you enjoyed during the 2022-23 season?

  • 1 – 3 days skied: The customer may choose between benefiting from the Refund guarantee (see the conditions that apply in section 1 of this document) or request a discount voucher for 100% of the value paid for the purchase of the 2023-24 Andorra Pass (holder only).
  • 4 – 10 days skied: The days skied will be charged at the rate of a one day ski pass at the ticket offices, and a discount voucher will be issued for the difference of the 2023-24 Season Pass’ amount.

Example:

Adult Season Pass (promotional price) = €820

7 days skied at €60 (adult price at ticket offices) = €420

Discount Voucher = €400

  • 11 – 13 days skied: A discount voucher will be issued for 10% of the amount of the 2023-24 Season Pass (ski pass holders only).
  • 14+ days skied: If 14 or more days have been skied, Grandvalira Resorts will not issue a discount voucher, as it considers that the ski pass holder has received sufficient services in return for the purchase of the ski pass, and therefore offers no compensation to the pass holder.

IMPORTANT:

Season passes at reduced rates, such as Resident, Sunday or Freestyle, Senior 70 to 74 years old and Senior over 75 years old, will be considered as used based on the amount and type paid by the customer and divided by €60 (adult rate for a one day ski pass at the ticket offices). In the case of the Sunday Season Pass, the days will be discounted at the ticket-office rate from day one.

Example:

Adult Andorra Resident Season Pass = €420

7 days skied at €60 (adult price at ticket offices) = €420

The Season Pass would already count as used

The Season Pass customer service department must be contacted between 2 December 2022 and 16 April 2023 (both inclusive) to request the discount voucher.

In order to process the discounts, the user must provide the required documentation and/or medical reports as well as the pass holder's Andorra Pass. The Season Pass Department will determine the type of discount that each customer shall receive in accordance with the aforementioned discount policy. These discount vouchers are personal, non-transferable and will only apply to the affected holder. Under no circumstances may the voucher be provided to any person other than the holder of the Andorra Pass. The Season Pass Department reserves the right to refuse requests made during two consecutive seasons, but commits to study each case.
