Grandvalira’s private lessons are tailored to your level and skiing style, whether alpine, freeride or freestyle. Ideal for personalized attention and optimal progress.

Our Ski and Snowboard School Ambassadors, qualified as master instructors with advanced certification, will guide you throughout the day to discover Grandvalira’s most authentic spots at your own pace. This format allows access to flexible, exclusive programs, led by a highly skilled team.

Indicative prices per person (for 2-person booking):

  • From €148 in low season

  • The lesson price may vary depending on the chosen time slot.
  • Prices apply to lessons that start at the same time each day.
  • Maximum: 6 people per instructor.

Recommendations

To ensure proper progression, Grandvalira recommends that private bookings for 2 or more people be made for clients of similar age and skill level.

Ski pass required

To access any school service, it is essential to have one of the following valid ski passes for the booked dates:

  • Day pass
  • Multi-day pass
  • Season pass Andorra Pass
  • Forfet Plus+

Note: Pedestrian, beginner and Mountain Passes are not accepted.

Group Lessons

2025-26 Season

Group lessons are a great way to learn or improve skiing and snowboarding in groups organized by level and age. With a progressive methodology and by sharing the experience with other skiers, you’ll enhance your technique while enjoying a social atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings of Grandvalira.

Indicative prices for low season:

  • Adult / Junior: from €154
  • Children (6 to 11 years): from €140.54
  • Weekend: from €103.50
  • Beginner 1 day (3 hours): from €58

Observation Group Lessons

Important information

  • Group lessons are conducted in multiple languages. Whenever possible, the school will offer the course in the appropriate language. However, to ensure instruction in your preferred language, we recommend booking private lessons.
  • The school reserves the right to change the instructor and group during the lesson.
  • Customers must arrive at the school 30 minutes before the confirmed time indicated at purchase. If no time is confirmed, you must arrive before 10 a.m.
  • If the booked lessons take place on both high and low season days, the final price will be calculated based on the corresponding rate for each day. Check the online calendar of prices.

  • 1-day group lessons (beginners only, from age 6): Soldeu and El Tarter. Not available for snowboard.
  • Adult Ski: Available in all sectors.
  • Children’s Ski (6 to 11 years): Available in all sectors.
  • Adult Snowboard: Available in all sectors, except weekends in Canillo.
  • Children’s Snowboard (6 to 11 years): Only available in Soldeu, El Tarter, and Canillo. In other sectors, available from age 12.

  • 15, 12, and 9-hour lessons: start on Mondays.
  • 6-hour lessons: start on Saturdays.
  • Special session December 27: available for 9, 12, and 15-hour lessons.
  • Special session January 2: available for 9 and 12-hour lessons.

Soldeu and El Tarter

  • 15, 12, and 9-hour lessons: start on Mondays and Saturdays.
  • 6-hour lessons: start only on Saturdays.
  • Special session December 27: available for 9, 12, and 15-hour lessons.
  • Special session January 2: available for 9 and 12-hour lessons.
  • 1-day beginner group lessons (3 hours): start any day of the week.

Canillo

  • 15, 12, and 9-hour lessons: start on Mondays.
  • 6-hour lessons: start only on Saturdays.

Ski levels

Beginners

If you are starting out in the world of skiing then welcome! Grandvalira is your ideal destination. We have one of the most highly recognized schools internationally, offering 400 specialist instructors to help you learn easily how to ski. We also have nurseriessnow gardens and children's circuits throughout the resort so that kids can also enjoy their first days' skiing and contact with the snow in a fun and pleasant way.

Intermediate

Lessons for intermediate skiers are designed to ensure progress in turning and gaining a level good enough to descend any type of slope, whatever the color. To do this you can chose to contract a private lesson, with much more personalized instruction, ensuring you'll learn faster.

Advanced

Already mastered the steered turn? Ready to go off piste? Know how to ski in any type of snow? Want to go on getting better and emulate the grand masters of international skiing? For all those who have already reached a high level of skiing, there is also a wide range of products on offer at the Grandvalira Ski and Snowboarding School.

Specialization lessons

Freeride 

Enthusiasts of the most authentic skiing, who seek descents in untouched areas where snow accumulates and where every turn is a challenge, will find the perfect place in Grandvalira to practice freeride on pristine snow, with obstacles and jumps in an unparalleled environment.

Freestyle skiing and snowboarding

You will learn the keys to freestyle and how to move and enjoy safely within a snow park, so that your skiing or snowboarding style enriches and improves beyond what you could have imagined.

Mountain skiing
