Grandvalira expects to open 30 km of skiable slopes ahead of the bank holiday of the Immaculate Conception

The ground team has worked against the clock to open the skiable connection between the Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig and Encamp sectors

The Domain of Snow has revised its rates and the price for a day pass will be 40 euros during the bank holiday

Due to the unfavourable weather conditions, Grandvalira expects to open 30 km of skiable slopes ahead of the bank holiday of the Immaculate Conception, with maximum snow depth reaching 35 cm. The operations team has worked hard against the clock to complete the skiable connection between the Encamp, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa sections, which will be operational starting next Thursday. The Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig sectors are currently open and connected. Because of the unfavourable weather conditions in recent weeks, maintenance and snow-making work has intensified on the slopes. The network of snow cannons has been active non-stop whenever the temperatures have been favourable. Fifty percent of the artificial snow planned for the year has already been produced in the open sections.

Grandvalira has adjusted its rates for the partial opening ahead of the bank holiday of the Immaculate Conception: the price of the day pass will be 40 euros for adult / junior and 25 euros for child (purchase at ticket offices).
