Grandvalira confirms the opening the next Saturday 28th November

The first big snowfalls of the winter have covered Grandvalira with more than a half metre of snow in the totality of the ski resort. They have started this last weekend and have been constant until today, which anticipates a very good beginning of the winter season. The opening is thus confirmed for next Saturday, November 28th.

Currently, the lowest temperatures are negative at the high levels of the Principality and the meteorologic previsions predict that they will be maintained during the weekend. The last snowfalls, together with the snow accumulations of the last 5 days, have permitted to assure the opening of 40% of the slopes (84 km approximately). The kilometers are divided between the Pas de la Casa – Grau Roig and Soldeu - El Tarter sectors. The connexion between Soldeu and Grau Roig will remain closed this weekend but the drag lifts of each sector will be absolutely operative to guarantee the skiers’ mobility.

Special price opening

With the purpose of sharing the emotion of the first big snowfalls of the season with its customers, Grandvalira will reduce the prices of its Day ski pass during this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Thus, adult visitors will be able to enjoy one day of snow for €35, while juniors (12-17 years) for €30 and children (6-11 years) for €26.

With such a measure, the ski resort wants to thank the skiers for chosing one more year Grandvalira to enjoy the first snowfalls of the year.
