Grandvalira chats with Henrik Harlaut, one of the stars of freestyle

Henrik Harlaut, one of the leading figures in the world of freeskiing, has spent several days enjoying our snowparks and gave us an interview in which he enthused about the freestyle options available at the Andorran resort. "If you come to these mountains, don't miss the snowparks; they're a major part of the facilities and they're clearly very important to the resort."

From next season onwards, Harlaut, who has already won the Big Air discipline at the X-Games twice (in 2013 and 2014) at just 23 years of age, will spend much of the winter on the snow at Grandvalira, as he recently moved to the Principality of Andorra. "My intention is to ski a lot more here in the future. Next year I plan to come in January or February and ski on the powder snow."

Harlaut also mentioned how impressed he was by the quality of the snowparks at Grandvalira. "They're great; better than I expected and in excellent condition." The young Swede feels that Grandvalira, "the Domain of Snow", is the perfect place to practice his ski tricks. "It's amazing that Grandvalira has three snowparks, and that each of them is so different. If you want, you can ski for 13 hours in a row, at night as well as during the day. If you're looking to improve, this is the place to come."
